A Huge Week Ahead

A huge week for Cashless Events as the Bunbury Stakes Day (Wednesday March 21st) and Bunbury Cup Day (Sunday March 25th) went cashless with the 2018 festival running over 5 days with 2 huge cup days.

A sunny Wednesday morning greeted the Cashless Events team as we rolled into the Bunbury Turf Club with our state-of-the-art RFID cashless technology. The crowds enjoyed action both on and off the track as the ladies strutted their stuff for the WA Racing Fashions on the Field Bunbury 2018 Heats.

As with any cashless event, branding and sponsorship opportunities are available for sponsors. This year Cashless Events teamed up with Jason Windows with branded RFID Wristbands and Cards which provided a great marketing and lead generation opportunities for the company as they enter the local market.

When asked on the effectiveness of their sponsorship, Kate Woolard – Marketing Manager at Jason Windows stated:

“Jason Windows had the opportunity to partner with Cashless Events as the event sponsor for two race events as part of the Bunbury Race Carnival – Ladies Day and the Bunbury Cup. Not only did we get great brand exposure through the wristbands produced for the events which saw our brand across 2900 wristbands on course but it gave us an opportunity to engage B2C with those attending which resulted in above expectations being achieved for our lead nurture program put in place for the event. Jason Windows was very pleased with the outcome”

A flawless Bunbury Stakes Day was followed up by a brilliant Bunbury Cup Day on Sunday the 25th as the Cashless Events team continued to provide unrivalled service and support for Bar & Food staff and local vendors.

We had over 40 bar & food staff and vendors with multiple locations throughout the event, Cashless Events RFID cashless technology helped speed up the purchase process for the thousands of patrons attending the carnival over the 2 days, while providing valuable real time data on the spending behaviour of patrons to the Turf Club as well as a comprehensive report on spending throughout the 2-day carnival.
